Our flexible student placement 2020

Education should be about improving society, not chasing academic kudos|Julian Kirchherr. The core process of our Trainee Program is to equip our trainees with the Job skills development they need to access with success to local or an international Job placement in the future. Our organization is committed to that. Our Trainee Program is always a small project-based internship which means the Trainee will work on a small Project with a common agreement on the measurable outcome of project delivery.

The program 2020 is target to students, joung researchers, volunteers and individuals who are willing to get a knowledge and practice in project management and research that promote job skills in demand in their respective career path.

The 3 to 6-month long trainee program is designed to give the trainees as many opportunities as possible to “learn and practice more” and will provide them with new insights and experiences from different sustainable development business areas, markets – and developing countries. Trainees are busy with regular tasks which includes the following phases:

Phase One: project Design and Research 1-2 weeks with focus on project development and management, Phase Two: Implementation of the designed project and report 3-4 weeks, Phase Three: Progressive Meeting and Analysis of report 4-5 weeks, Phase Four: Preparation of further materials with focus on final project reporting and e-learning (Read e.g. here).

We are working on open office basis (Read more here.) This gives us the chance to recruit remote trainees worldwide. Each trainee has been assigned a personal mentor who keeps track of their progress and takes on the role of a personal guide throughout the program. The trainees are attending several training meeting and review, which will help them approach their challenges and tasks differently, boosting their creativity and innovative abilities.

The project 2020

The placement project 2020 is aligned to our successfully placement project of 2019. The placement project 2020 will also be based on knowledge and job skills in demand (work ethics, effective communication, analytical thinking, diplomacy, change-readiness, problem solving, leadership and team building; all of which are key skills in today’s competitive job market.). The trainees will be working to find ways to align knowledge, and skills for development for the greater good and to make positive change in the field of sustainable development in the developing countries within the frame of the SDGs.
